INFORMATION FOR YOU.
The guild has been going and fairly active on the server from April, 2009. It is on the ALLIANCE side of the game.
We are located on the Darkmoon Faire Server (now mass merged of course), we support Role Play, Social aspects, Raiders, Mythic plus enthusiasts and moving forward we hope to support our guild with more PVE.
The Embers of Lordaeron
This is the main front post as a support website to our facebook and discord applications. This is for anyone that is interested in the guild or wants to post additional things because they haven't succumbed to the facebook/discord lure.
The Guild Activities.
1. We are a Social and Role Play guild which means that we accept anyone that likes to focus on their character from a background and role play perspective.
2. As we are a social guild, we accept non-role players and we ask that you respect that there will be chatter in and out of character.
3. We do raid, and we have people who are knowledgeable about their class and the roles. If you want to raid you must try to know your class and be prepared to learn with the rest.
4. Mentoring and assisting. There is a huge focus on being friendly and approachable and if someone hasn't got the time for this they are probably in the wrong place.
What gets you banned.
1. Anti-social behavior - yes that's constantly not caring about your fellow guildies, abuse to someone in the guild (banter not included) or generally being unhelpful and rude.
2. Any activity that breaches the terms and conditions you signed up for with the game. If you buy gold you will be removed from the guild, if you are exploiting glitches that could ban our guild you will be removed.
3. Ninja's - taking gear, wiping out the bank or not being willing to share loot without considering fellow players and their needs you will be banned.
The Ban Process.
This can be utterly ignored in the case of trolls and people who sign up just to cause a problem.
1. An in game mail will be sent to you with a warning, you will be told what the problem is.
2. A last warning will be given to you and you will be able to defend this with an officer should you feel that it is not acceptable.
3. You will receive a final in game mail to tell you that it is unfortunate but this is our decision.
If the problem persists and you are not capable of accepting the decision a report will be sent to Wow with any evidence to support the harassment of other players.
Concerns when you are playing?
If you are getting harassment from a player, guild or not and you are concerned please raise the matter with the Guild master or anyone online that can support you. Your in game safety and happiness is really the only thing I care about as a GM - you're meant to feel happy with us and want to log on.
If someone has complained about your gear, your spec or your playing... put them on ignore. Don't argue with them they are too stupid to understand it's YOUR money and YOUR game.
Don't enter ERPG (erotic role play) unless it's somewhere private, by whisper or chat. I am not stupid, I know it goes on but PLEASE don't get banned over it. And remember to be wary about age with players you don't know.
Finally - if you don't think it's something right or enjoyable don't do it, don't be afraid to ignore them and if you get abuse from a player see the above points about reporting.
Enjoy your game and feel safe with us. As the Guild Master that's all I could ever ask for from the community in our banner.
Associated guilds and members?
If you are a friendly player who wants regular contact with us we will give you the OOC Channel /Discord or Facebook. You don't have to be in the guild to get a chance to come to dungeons, ask advice or keep in touch. We're not trying to force recruitment down your throat we're trying to build a massive and happy community who log want to log on and love their online friends.
When people leave the guild we always like to try to keep it on good terms, so if you want to come back or you want to stay in touch it's all there for you.
